Collaborations

We love to collaborate with others who share our values and our goals.

In 2025 we worked with Leicester based arts organisation, Inspirate‍, on The Roots of Our Tree project to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the reinterment of King Richard III

Local Leicester Primary schools were invited to take part in a programme of creative sessions exploring the significance of Richard III to their lives. This project culminated in around 300 children and their families taking part in a procession as part of Leicester City Council’s annual Light Up Leicester Event in March 2025.

Project FREE led the Schools Engagement aspect of this collaboration, to connect with schools, promote the opportunity and ensure the young people involved were representative of Leicester’s diversity. We also consulted on the details during the planning and delivery stages to prioritise inclusivity.
